Yes, Alicia Keys and rapper Swizz Beatz are getting married and having a baby – but don’t believe rumors that they’ll tie the knot this weekend.

“The wedding is not this week,” Kasseem “Swizz Beatz” Dean told PEOPLE at the New Music Seminar in New York City Wednesday night.

Shooting down online reports of a lavish ceremony to be held on a yacht, the rapper says, “People are very creative [with gossip], but it’s cool. We have fun with this stuff. [The rumors are that] we’re taking a boat to do this and we’re like, ‘Man, who’s paying for that?’ ” he jokes.

Swizz Beatz also debunks reports that he’ll manage Keys, who recently parted ways with her longtime manager Jeff Robinson. “I am one trillion percent not managing my fiancée. I’m not a manager,” he says.

Ready for Parenthood

But rumors aside, the two musicians are focused on the impending birth of their first child together. “Alicia is definitely one of those great parents-to-be. I’m definitely one of those great parents as well,” says Swizz Beatz, who has two sons, Kaseem Jr., 3, and Prince Nasir, 9, from previous relationships.

So, will a son or daughter be joining the bunch? “We don’t know. We’re just going to let that be magical. Whatever we’re blessed with, boy, girl, twins, that baby is being born to blessed parents,” he said.

They may not know the gender of the baby – or babies – yet, but if Dean’s parenting is any indication, the child will grow up appreciating art like the rest of the family.

“[My sons] pick up things you least expect. You ask my 3-year-old, he’ll tell you [about Takashi] Murakami and [Jean-Michel] Basquiat. My oldest son Nasir is into all types of artists and he likes to write movies,” he says.

He adds: “My youngest son picked up Basquiat just because I have a video playing in my art studio. I did a portrait of him and I have photos. One day he pointed to a tattoo on my arm and goes, ‘Oh yeah, you have Basquiat on your arm,’ and I asked, ‘How do you know that?’ He’s like, ‘Duh! He’s only everywhere.’ ”

As for how Keys is preparing for her new role as mommy, Swizz Beatz says, “She’s super ready. Super calm. Super glowing. Super positive. Super happy.”

“Jeff Robinson, CEO of MBK Entertainment Inc., and 12 time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys have decided to change the structure of their business relationship,” it was revealed. “Robinson and Keys will continue to collaborate and produce future albums together through MBK/J Records while Alicia will now oversee all aspects of her own personal career.”

“This decision will allow Alicia more control over all aspects of her career from singing and songwriting, to leading many business ventures and social causes. Alicia Keys will bring Jay-Z and Sade out to perform at the seventh annual Black Ball concert, taking place Sept. 30 at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom. The event will raise money for Keys’ Keep a Child Alive foundation, which helps provide AIDS/HIV treatment and care to children and families in Africa and India.

“Sade? Jay-Z? Both icons and both major influences of mine,” Keys said in a statement. “I am overwhelmed by their generosity in helping us continue the tradition of making the Black Ball the best fundraiser in NYC. There are more surprises coming up! Stay tuned!”

The Black Ball event has been raising millions of dollars for years with past performers such as David Bowie, Justin Timberlake, Chris Martin, Common, John Mayer, and Bono. Besides musicians, politicians and entrepreneurs like Bill Clinton and Richard Branson have helped donate money to the foundation. Shannon Tavarez was performing as the young Nala in The Lion King on Broadway when her legs mysteriously started to hurt. The pain made walking – not to mention dancing – difficult. In April came the devastating diagnosis: At age 11, she had an acute form of leukemia.

The news “really hit me hard,” says Tavarez.

Her struggle also struck a chord with Alicia Keys and Rihanna. The singers, who both started their careers when they were young, decided to help get the word out that Tavarez needs a bone marrow transplant to live.

Keys says she was touched when she visited Tavarez on July 2 in the Long Island hospital where she receives daily chemotherapy treatments.

“For her, the sky is the limit, but now she’s fighting for her life,” the mom-to-be, who is asking fans to become donors.

Keys hopes Tavarez and other patients like her to have the chance to “grow up to live their dreams.”

Rihanna seconds that sentiment. “[Tavarez] should be performing on Broadway, but is confined to her bed, fighting for her life,” Rihanna tells People. “She needs to find a bone marrow donor to survive. I urge all my fans to register [as donors]. It’s the most beautiful thing someone could do, to give the gift of life.”

To become a donor visit DKMS Americas or The National Marrow Donor Program, which operates the national registry.

Alicia Keys left her fans worried after falling on stage while performing at The 2010 Essence Music Festival.

It appeared the singer lost her balance when taking a step back on her high heels. Alicia Keys stumbled backward and fell on her behind. However, the singer then quickly got up, found a seat on a nearby piano chair, and did not miss even a single line of her hit “Love Is Blind.”

A representative of the singer said that Alicia Keys, as well as her unborn baby, were unhurt by the fall.

Keys, who is engaged to producer Swizz Beatz, is due to give birth this fall.

Swiss Beatz has admitted that he was amazed by Alicia Keys’ performance at the BET Awards.

Keys, who is engaged to and expecting a baby with the producer, shocked the audience at last week’s awards by climbing on to her piano and performing a tribute to Prince.

MTV reports that Prince was stunned by the performance and looked over at Beatz numerous times.

Beatz said: “I didn’t even see Prince looking at me at the awards, but when I went back and seen the replay of the show, I was like, ‘Man, he must have been in my head, thinking what I’m thinking’. ‘Cos I’m like, ‘Wow, that’s crazy! She’s taking it there’.

“I thought it was amazing. I thought it was an honor and it was a blessing even to be in Prince’s circumference of greatness… He is a great person and he’s a great friend as well.”
